So, I’m starting over here at Naked & Ashamed. Here’s what I’m doing:

1. Changing the name
2. Clearing out the old plugins
3. Changing the theme
4. Cleaning up the links

The only functionality I’m keeping for sure is the tagging bits. The rest of it, especially Extended Live Archives, is going the way of the dodo.

Edit: I’ve replaced Ultimate Tag Warrior with Simple Tagging, as Simple Tagging is just a way better plugin. And smaller.

As you can see, the old depressingly boring theme is gone, and in its place a theme called Fork, a modification to K2 done by some good people on the interweb.

Also, the shoutbox is back, and I’ve added a link to the sidebar called “My del.icio.us”.

As some of you may or may not have noticed, things are once again a-changing at ye olde blog. I’ve started upgrading those plugins I need to upgrade due to the recent version change of this Wordpress install. This means that certain things have moved on for the moment, such as the beautiful theme once presiding over this kangaroo court, the shoutbox on the side that everyone has started ignoring, and several other useful and inspiring features.

In fact, this place is starting to look like a regular old-fashioned blog. But not for long! In some deep secret part of the interwood I am testing out my very own forum, a forum such that me and mine can converse amongst ourselves. I have Nick to thank for the webspace and whatnot. If you want to have a look and try this out for yourself, be warned that everything is in development.

Some of you may have noticed that there have been a few changes around here. Okay, things look way different. That’s because I’ve recently augmented my Wordpress install with a plugin called “K2″ - a beta I found thanks to Poetisphere. You’ll notice a nice AJAX search mechanism and comments field. Really, it’s quite fun.

I’ve also added tagging thanks to the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin, which should help with finding content and categorizing it. I may eventually give up on categories altogether. Who knows…

And at the same time I’ve added links on the side - Poetisphere and my Frappr Map. Which you should add yourself to, really.
