I Know You Will

Among the first things you should learn
is never let your love out of your mind.
Don’t ever let her disappear
behind the lights that always seek to blind you.
She’ll find you, naked and ashamed.

But when you do (I know you will),
try to make it better any way you can.
And when you fail (you always will),
try to take a message any way you can.

Among the last things you should do
is try to save your castle from the sea.
A beach is made to reappear
in the morning, blank. It was made to free you,
or she’ll see you, naked and ashamed.

But when you try (I know you will),
try to build it better any way you can.
And when you fail (I know you will),
leave for anywhere else, any way you can.

    Yep. There is. In fact, I almost never write lyrics without music. It’s just the way I am :)

    But unfortunately I don’t really have a mic set up to record them.
