Another thought: if freedom must be forced upon the world, if the goal of universal liberty is such an overriding ideal that some evil must be done in its name, how is it then different from the very tyranny that it seeks to displace?
Can peace come from war?
Can an evil tree bear good fruit?

Can peace come ?
I don’t think so.
Peace to the world, goodwill to all mankind. Was the angel lying, or hyperbolising, or something?
Maybe the question should be, “Can the Kingdom come?” If the answer is yes, then peace comes along with it.
