YANS. Yet another news site. Not sure what the spin on this one is.

![About the [rmfo-blogs] service. [rmfo-blogs.com]](http://rmfo-blogs.com/images/rmfoblog.png)
I guess that you can use Planet as a reader if you want. It’s a startlingly public reader, though. But if you’re aggregating together a lot of sources on a subject and trying to provide value with it—like I use on RMFO-Blogs or what I do with GFMorris.net—there’s value in it.
Personally, I’m working on transitioning to Venus, a fork of Planet, because I like what Sam Ruby is doing with the codebase.
October 28th, 2006 at 2:03 pmI didn’t put a lot of description into that particular description; reader is definitely not the right word. Although I wouldn’t really care if people were to see what feeds I’ve subscribed to.

October 29th, 2006 at 8:24 amI seem to have escaped that innovative trap by not actually putting a button on my site.
