Seasonal Conjugation

Seasonally, we conjugate as follows:
callous yes but there
is so much left to be:
I am re-inventing myself
as an over-the-hill sightseer:
you are coming into bloom
still fresh out of the ground:
she is paralaxing, a good memory
by halves, by quarters:
we are (aren’t we?) something
beautifully understated:
they are playing pin-the-tail-
on-the-lone-wolf to our duck and cover.

Seasonally, we collide as follows:
I am open, you are open,
let us meet in the middle.
