Hola.
For those of you who’ve been wondering – the few, I know – where I’ve been the last week or so, I’ve basically gone from sick and depressed to on top of the world.
I haven’t been writing much because I’m busy composing the last few songs for my upcoming EP which tentatively entitled How to Walk Through the Fire. And by upcoming I mean whenever I get the new microphone and have some time to record.
I provide you with a verse of said songs:
Don’t know where you are right now
with this city burning down to the ground.
But I’ve got a few scars to show
that how you sow your mouth shut
is what matters most.
Don’t speak much except to scream
with grafts to cover the indelible dream.
But my silence is meant to show
that how you walk through it
is what matters most.

August 24th, 2006 at 8:36 amWhat, no jacked-up pricing? What if I want an autographed publicity photo to go with it? Or a poster? Will there be cool cover art? What about liner notes? What do I have to do to get mentioned in the liner notes?
These are all things you should be thinking about.
August 24th, 2006 at 10:31 amI think it’s also very important to speak to a lawyer and get some sweet warnings on there, just in case someone tries to walk through some literal fire with your music blaring in the background. Your too pretty for prison!
August 24th, 2006 at 1:24 pmI smell burning.
