Strange Geometry

We all have it: circles with circles and
lines connecting them helter-skelter -
things that bend impossibly inward only
to emerge like vines from moist soil
far distant -
we haven’t straighted ourselves out
or eachother or anyone at all.
We all wish a schematic to twist and angle
off into darkness - how we have fingers
in three dimensions and minds in eleven -
how we are brains inventing branes inventing
universes in soap bubbles, each connected
to another, impossibly entangled
like wheels within wheels
within strange geometry.
