 You should never do that again! It was…pathetically awesome!

Having gotten that out of my system…were the facial expresssion exaggerated for the sake of the camera? I mean, you couldn’t completely have been at ease and your normal self just then.

  4. danielon 18 Jul 2006 at 8:02 am

YES! I was SO uncomfortable and my face kept moving itself uncomfortably! It was like my mind was going all Paris Hilton but my face thought it’d be awesome to be Jim Carey!

If you do decide to go here again (*shudder*), you should have a script/bullet points. I guess it’s OK to ramble your first time, though embarassing.

  6. danielon 18 Jul 2006 at 8:06 am

I said that at the very end of the video – but I guess by then you’d already started throwing up?

  7. Rogeron 18 Jul 2006 at 8:08 am

No, I was just affirming your suggestion.

  8. Chrison 18 Jul 2006 at 8:12 am

Fantastically, incredibly awful, and yet hilarious at the same time. You simply must do another one of these.

  9. Rogeron 18 Jul 2006 at 8:15 am

I think he’s saying what I’m saying: Your weblogging embarasses me, while entertaining me but making me squirm.

  10. danielon 18 Jul 2006 at 8:15 am

Roger: thank you for the affirmation. I feel empowered.

Chris: You wouldn’t believe how long I debated putting this up. I watched it… and I watched it again… with that sort of sick fascination I speak of in more recent posts. And then I was like, “Hey, wait, this is me in all my nerdy uncomfortable glory.” So if ANY OF YOU had this idea in your head of me as some cool guy… um no. lol

Shame on you for shattering our innocence.

    :)

  12. Elyssaon 18 Jul 2006 at 8:29 am

FYI: Dan does make some of those faces in real life, very entertaining.

While I was watching this little bit one thing kept going through my head….please end, please end, please end. But no, it kept going, and going, and going.
    Dan, you are a crackhead, I think I like it :) :) :)

Everyone else: your comments are WAY TO FUNNY

Apparently I make then when I’m talking about relationships. So basically when I’m uncomfortable my face turns into India Rubber.

Also, I may have died inside a little today.

  14. Jeffon 18 Jul 2006 at 11:26 am

    well…not so much India Rubber…just…let’s say..overly expressive?

  15. Geof F. Morrison 18 Jul 2006 at 12:42 pm

Y’know, I wasn’t going to watch this, but … then I read the comments, and I figured that it would be interesting. Then I got a shoutout. Hooah!

And it’s SOOF-yan, not “suhf-jen” or whatever you said.

As for making lots of facial expressions, I think it’s just a natural reaction to being on camera.

[For just a brief moment, I had the idea that maybe I should vidblog the Blogathon. Then I thought about how much that would SUCK.]

Attribution is the highest payment :)

I’m Canadian! We pronounce things differently!

*dan (c’mon you know you want to videoblog that marathon)

  17. _steveon 18 Jul 2006 at 4:37 pm

Dude…you are the very definition of nervous wanker.

  18. danielon 18 Jul 2006 at 4:39 pm

    There was… no… wanking…

  19. Chris Hubbson 18 Jul 2006 at 5:29 pm

Thanks for the clarification there, dan.

  20. Geof F. Morrison 18 Jul 2006 at 6:00 pm

Hey, I pronounce things like Canadians do, ya know? [Ever heard me broadcast hockey? It's amusing.] I still would say it as “SOOF-yawn”.

Here’s why I won’t vidblog the Blogathon: as I understand it, I’d have to let YouTube process on the file before I could share it. I have to post every 30 minutes, or I’d not consider it an issue.

But I’ve not used YouTube, and if I’m wrong, let me know, and I’ll think about it. Watching me on video at 03:41 could be funny.

  21. danielon 18 Jul 2006 at 6:13 pm

Yeah – it takes about 15 minutes for the videos to process, usually. So you’d have to be in front of the game there.

  22. Geof F. Morrison 18 Jul 2006 at 7:53 pm

And far more annoyingly, I’d have to stay in front of it all night long. I’m not sure that I can do it, especially really late at night when I’m wiped out.

But I could probably resort to posting cameraphone photos of myself when I’m running low…

“But I could probably resort to posting cameraphone photos of myself when I’m running low…”

Again. I remember being a commenter for a few hours last year on Geof’s blog-a-thon.

Dan, Krissy (my wife) watched this with me the second time. :)

I was choking down the laughter… until that ending. I dont know if I can look at you the same again.
