I'm still trying to figure out how the two stanzas fit together. The first one is really nice, I like the combined imagery of the heart in the throat and dropping through the gut at the same time. The second part I'm not so sure about; I'll need to let it sit and stew for a while before I can give a more definitive opinion. Keep 'em coming! Interesting.
