Random things.
Today, while I was in the area, I stopped by the LCBO and picked up a little bottle of a liquer called “Sambouka” or something like that. Tastes like black liccourish. Is that how you spell that? Very interesting stuff.
Still watching the occasional episode of “Without a Trace”. Very good stuff.
The Rumor Forum is starting to disturb me.
Have you noticed how cold it is outside now? It’s freezing in the morning. Wear-a-hoodie sort of cold. Not good. Looking forward to Indian Summer.
It’s going to be a crazy week, I tell you.

So, you got that Sambouka stuff, eh? I don’t know how you actually spell it, but it is quite good. Make a B-52 shot with half of that stuff and half Bailey’s… mmmm.
Yeah, it is getting cold out, eh? But then again, later this week it’s supposed to go up to 24 or so… there’s your Indian summer!
Laterzz…
October 5th, 2004 at 4:09 amHey man, I’ve got a blog you might like to check out - he’s my philosophy prof at Redeemer. http://gideonstrauss.com
Not a bad read.
October 5th, 2004 at 7:12 amI believe its spelled Sambuca. Its greek in origin, and if you like something with a little more kick, ouzo is very similar, except it has about 30-40 alc per vol instead of 14.
Its great in a high-ball class with a couple coffee beans. Microwave for 10-20 seconds to warm it up and get the coffee juices flowing, light it for a couple seconds, just for cool effect and you have a great warm liquer.
